Nov 15 | 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM | Sylva

Nov 20 | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Waynesville

Did you know that in the United States, 1 in 7 pregnancies are exposed to alcohol?

Prenatal alcohol exposure can result in fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), a brain-based disability that has a wide range of effects that last a lifetime. Current research estimates that as many as 1 in 20 children in North Carolina have FASD.

Unfortunately, this disorder is often not diagnosed, impacting how those with FASD live, learn, and succeed.

Register for one of these sessions to hear about fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD) and how Proof Alliance NC helps providers with prevention strategies in a variety of settings.

Presentations will be delivered as hybrid events; in-person and virtually.
