About The Event

Did you know that in the United States, 1 in 7 pregnancies are exposed to alcohol? Prenatal alcohol exposure can result in fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), a brain-based disability that has a wide range of effects that last a lifetime. Current research estimates that as many as 1 in 20 children in North Carolina have FASD. Unfortunately, this disorder is often not diagnosed, impacting how those with FASD live, learn, and succeed.
