Building Connections: Strategies to Overcome Social Isolation

Social isolation is a challenge faced by many families who have children with disabilities, but there are ways to foster meaningful connections and support.  

This interactive session will explore practical strategies for both parents/caregivers and children/young adults to strengthen social networks, reduce feelings of isolation, and build community. Families will gain ideas for connecting with peers, accessing inclusive community programs, leveraging technology to stay engaged and creating opportunities for shared experiences.
